“Armor” announces the downing of more than 40 Turkish drones in Syria and Libya

During the hostilities in Syria and Libya, Russian short-range air defense systems “Pantsir-S” shot down more than 40 Turkish Bayraktar and Anka UAVs.

According to Alexander Novikov, Head of the Department of Construction and Development of the UAV System of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, in the Idlib area, three Bayraktar drones are being monitored by the military.

“We can track them from flight to landing,” he said.
The Russian land and sea-based anti-aircraft missile and artillery system (ZRPK) “Pantsir-s” is designed to provide direct protection of civilian and military targets from air attack weapons, and is capable of protecting the defending body from ground and surface threats.
