The ancients used it and the grandchildren forgot it, the “drink” that fights diabetes and cancer

Blood sugar levels can drop by as much as a quarter with regular consumption of fenugreek.

Specialists note that since ancient times, fenugreek has been used medicinally to treat many diseases. Later scientists discovered that the plant is a source of vitamins and minerals such as folic acid, riboflavin, copper, potassium, calcium, iron, manganese, and vitamins A, B6, C, and K.

Fenugreek is also famous for its anti-cancer properties – a number of studies have shown that it is able to suppress the reproduction of malignant cells.

In addition, fenugreek is very effective in controlling blood sugar levels in diabetics who are not dependent on insulin.
Researchers note that eating 25-100 grams of fenugreek seeds can lower blood sugar levels.

According to studies, the daily urine glucose level decreased by 54%, and the fasting sugar level, triglycerides and HDL cholesterol decreased by 25%, 30% and 30.6%, respectively, after eating fenugreek seeds.

Research shows that these effects are due to the soluble fiber in fenugreek, which helps lower blood sugar by slowing the absorption of carbohydrates.
