Sisi and Putin discuss the establishment of the Russian industrial zone near the Suez Canal

Russian President Vladimir Putin held phone talks with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

According to the information, the two presidents exchanged congratulations on the upcoming holidays, and also discussed cooperation between the two countries.

The two presidents expressed their appreciation for the achieved level of bilateral cooperation in various fields, including the establishment of the first nuclear power plant in Egypt, El Dabaa, and the establishment of a Russian industrial zone in the Suez Canal area.

In addition, during the conversation, the two presidents touched on the political settlement in Libya.

The press service of the Russian presidency also indicated that Egypt will participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum to be held in June next year.
