Nicole Kidman talks about discrimination in Hollywood

Actress Nicole Kidman, in an interview with Djur, spoke about the phenomenon of discrimination in Hollywood.

According to her, there is still an opinion in the film industry that women over the age of forty have nothing to do with films.
The artist said that this is not said directly. However, as she explains, after this age, they receive fewer offers and more job rejections.

“I’ve never sat on a chair and never heard anyone say, ‘You missed your appointment.’ But you turned down and shut the door in front of you.”

Earlier, Nicole Kidman, in an interview with Harper, spoke about her divorce with actor Tom Cruise.

Prior to that, more than 300 black actors and producers in the United States wrote a letter urging top Hollywood officials to end systemic racism.
The letter book gave the American film industry part of the responsibility for “promoting a cult of white supremacy”, as well as promoting the “legends of limited global sales” of the products of black filmmakers.
