NASA: A “potentially dangerous” asteroid will approach Earth on January 18

According to NASA, asteroid 7482 (1994 PC1) will approach Earth on January 18. The asteroid will fly at a distance of less than two million kilometers from the planet.

7482 (1994 PC1) has been classified by NASA as an Apollo-class asteroid – potentially dangerous, with a size of more than one kilometer. The celestial body was discovered in 1994 by astronomer Robert McNutt.

The space agency stated that this asteroid will be the largest of all objects that will approach Earth in 2022.
