Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, today made an inspection tour of the Egyptian-Japanese University of Science and Technology, in the presence of Dr. Hani Helal, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Amr Adly, President of the University, Dr. Mostafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, and a group of ministry leaders. The minister began his tour by inspecting the Ambassador Fayza Abul Naga Central Library, which contains a distinguished collection of books in Arabic, English, and Japanese, in addition to inspecting the auditoriums and study halls, as there are 4 auditoriums at the university with a capacity of 250 students. The Minister also inspected one of the new college buildings that are scheduled to be completed in the coming months, which includes 12 laboratories, two amphitheaters, 13 classrooms, and administrative offices, while the second building, which is scheduled to be completed within several months, includes 5 engineering drawing halls, 6 computer laboratories, two amphitheaters, 16 classrooms, and administrative offices.
