Man sentenced to 13.5 years in prison for sexual acts against eight-year-old girls

Cam24 reported that in Kamchatka, a child sex child reindeer breeder was convicted of a particularly serious crime five years ago.

The Provincial Investigation Service reported that a 31-year-old citizen from Esso village was sentenced to 13 years and 6 months in prison with a one-year restriction of his freedom.

In 2016, a man committed sexual acts against eight-year-old girls while in a tent on the territory of a reindeer herding unit.

The authorities said: “He has raped and committed other acts of a sexual nature against one of the minors, and he also committed a cycle of other acts of a sexual nature against another girl.”

The defendant pleaded guilty.

The court also fulfilled civil claims for compensation for moral damages to the victims.
