Le Figaro: NATO is preparing for Russia’s “attack” on the Baltic states

The French newspaper “Le Figaro” reported that NATO is conducting maneuvers in the Baltic states, where actions are being taken in case of an attack by a potential enemy.

The newspaper notes that the task of the units stationed in the eastern wing is to contain the enemy’s attack until the coalition prepares for a military response. In addition, NATO is working on joint actions of units from different countries – the French, German and British army are deployed in the Baltic states.

During the exercises, tanks, armored vehicles and infantry fighting vehicles are used.
