US sends 80 tons of weapons to Ukraine

A second plane, with military assistance from the United States, arrived in Ukraine with more than 80 tons of weapons on board.

“This is not the end,” Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov wrote on Twitter.
“More than 80 tons of weapons to strengthen the defense capacity of Ukraine from our friends from the USA!”

The US Embassy in Kiev also reported that a batch of new military aid from the US in the amount of $200 million was delivered to Ukraine.

The White House had previously promised that the United States would continue to provide military assistance to Ukraine in the coming months to bolster the country’s defense.
