Russian Defense deploys modern fighters in Belarus
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said that Russia will transport modernized Su-35S combat aircraft to airfields in Belarus as part of a test of reaction forces in the Union country.
“During the flight, the crews make an intermediate landing at the airfields of the Central and Western Military District in order to prepare for the next flight and the rest of the crew,” the ministry said.
The statement states that after arriving in Belarus, the crews of the Su-35S will take up a combat mission as part of the performance test of the unified air defense system of the Union state.
