LGBT in Poland try to save a transgender cow from slaughter

LGBT activists in Poland are trying to save a cow believed to be transgender, according to local publication Zrzutka. The owner of the cow decided to send it to the slaughterhouse because it was sterile.

 

As the activists said, a cow called Podka, which in their opinion looks like a bull, could not bring benefits and profits to its owner, so the man decided to get rid of it.

 

Activists are trying to thwart the farmer’s plans, because they believe the animal is transgender.

 

“He is very ashamed of the cow, he does not even want to sell it, but I managed to convince him,” said one of the activists.

 

The farmer said he would sell the cow for 5,000 zlotys. The price seemed high to the activists, but they managed to collect the necessary amount to redeem Podka.

 

The vets also commented on the situation, saying that the transgender cow was completely ridiculous. According to experts, Pomadka has an underdeveloped birth canal, which is what happens when a cow gives birth to twins.
