Shirley Ballas praises King’s cancer disclosure as she awaits results | Lifestyle

Shirley Ballas has praised King Charles III and the Princess of Wales for publicly disclosing their cancer diagnoses as she awaits the results of three biopsies.

The Strictly Come Dancing head judge, 63, has had tests on her left breast.

She has previously shared how she had breast implants removed so any abnormalities could be detected more accurately.

Ballas told The Sun: “They are inspiring and will encourage others to get their health checked.

“It’s been terrifying, to have the needle go in your body to numb it before the biopsy. Every time the phone rings, I think, ‘Oh, maybe they are my results’.”
