Minister of Education: Artificial Intelligence will be a major subject in the new high school curricula

Minister of Education and Technical Education, Dr. Reda Hegazy, stressed that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is keen on the importance of educating students in the field of technology to keep pace with the development of labor market needs, indicating that artificial intelligence will be included as a main subject in the new high school curricula, for which the law will be prepared during the period. This came during the Minister’s opening of the annual exhibition activities and workshops for students of technical education schools in Cairo under the title “Create and Create.” Today, Tuesday, which includes student projects and work, at the School of Advanced Technical Maintenance Technology, in the presence of Khaled Abdel-Al, Governor of Cairo.

 

The Minister stressed the importance of continuous development of the technical education system through upgrading With the performance of students to possess skills that make them qualified to compete in the labor market, he pointed out the importance of holding a permanent exhibition under the supervision of the governorate to promote student products in many fields such as clothing, cars, and programmed programs for managing operations, explaining that the continuous development of the skills of technical education students under the slogan “ Made in Egyptian schools.

He pointed out that technical education schools are able to provide high-quality products by their students, explaining that the Ministry is always working to develop the technical education system.

For his part, he stressed Governor of Cairo: The political leadership’s keenness to pay attention to technical education as one of the main ways to achieve comprehensive development plans and programs, within Egypt’s Vision 2030, which made the Egyptian state pursue a national strategy to lay the foundations for a non-standard technical education system that relies on providing an applied environment for school curricula that simulates the labor market in Various specializations locally, regionally and globally, and qualifying human cadres and raising their efficiency and readiness technically, technologically and technologically in line with successive developments in various fields, as well as encouraging a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, in addition to improving the skills of those in charge of the educational process in accordance with international standards.

He added. The Governor of Cairo said that the state is keen on empowering young people, nurturing their talents and qualifying them to excel in the labor market, and providing them with the necessary knowledge and capabilities to excel in their professional careers in order to prepare qualified graduates in the various specializations needed by the labor market.

The governor noted during his inspection of the exhibition Artistic products indicate that the level of students’ presentations is a source of pride, as it witnesses great development every time and highlights the skills of the students and the faculty supervising their training.

 

Dr. Reda Hegazy inspected the exhibition, where he reviewed Student projects in many fields, and the Minister discussed with the students their projects and how to benefit from them.

The Minister followed many sections of the exhibition, including ready-made clothing, carpentry works, architecture and finishing, and restoration of antiquities. He also inspected the food products pavilion for agricultural schools, Food manufacturing, textile, printing, and decoration, assembling electronic devices (tablets, screens, and cameras). He praised the skills of the students and the quality of the products displayed.

It is noteworthy that the annual technical education exhibition was launched with the participation of 38 industrial education schools in 18 industrial specializations, 7 hotel schools, 5 commercial education schools, 3 agricultural schools, 2 applied technology schools, and 3 dual education schools.
