Chinese Educational Advisor: Relations with Egypt witnessed a golden age during the last ten years
The educational advisor to the Chinese Embassy in Cairo, Lu Zhixin, said that the Chinese language is a bridge of friendship between China and Egypt, adding: “This year we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Egypt and China, as in the last ten years it has witnessed a golden age.” Under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and President Xi Jinping.
This came during his speech delivered today, Saturday, at the celebration of the International Chinese Language Day, at the headquarters of the Egyptian Chinese University in Nasr City.

He stressed that the Chinese language is one of the Languages that students in the world accept, as there are 180 countries and regions around the world that have Chinese language departments in universities, while the Chinese language is taught in 92 countries as a second foreign language in schools, indicating that there are about 200 million people outside China who are learners and users. The Chinese advisor expressed his happiness with the participation of the League of Arab States in organizing today’s celebration, which indicates the depth of relations between China and the Arab countries, especially in the field of teaching the Chinese language, adding that there are 15 Arab countries where the language is taught. Chinese in their universities during the year 2022, while there are four countries, including Egypt, where the Chinese language is taught in schools.
He explained that the Chinese language is a bridge to strengthen Chinese-Arab relations, as the first Arab-Chinese summit was successfully held in 2022, which led to To raise relations to a better level, pointing to the invitation of many Arab countries to join the BRICS group, as Egypt joined it, and the global South – with both China and the Arab countries – has become a decisive force in the changing situation in the international system.
He stressed The Chinese Chancellor said that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the founding of the China Cooperation Forum – The ministerial meeting will be held in China this year, expressing his aspiration to cooperate with Arab countries to inject new momentum to open a new vision for the future of Chinese-Arab relations.
