Artificial babysitter to take care of the fetus

Inventing an artificial babysitter to take care of the fetus…..

Researchers in the eastern city of Suzhou say they have successfully developed an artificial intelligence (AI) system that can track the growth of fetuses inside an artificial womb.

According to Professor Sun Haiquan of the Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology, the technology allows an automated system (or “nanny”) to control, adjust and care for mouse embryos.

The developers claim that the “nanny” has surpassed her human ancestors, being able to track the development of animal embryos with “unprecedented accuracy”.
The robot uses an imaging process that “takes ultra-clear images of different depths by quickly switching between different lenses”.

AI technology helps the device detect the slightest signs of changes in fetuses and fine-tunes carbon dioxide, nutrition and environmental exposure. The system can also classify fetuses based on health status and growth potential.”

The goal of this technique is to better understand the origin of life and human embryo development, and to provide a theoretical framework for addressing birth defects and other serious reproductive health problems.
