The Russian Air Force also managed to destroy one of the leaders of the Ash Soldiers group, Murat Margoshvili.

“This is an abhorrent person who fought in Chechnya, and the blood of many civilians is on his hands,” said Alexander Lavrentiev, the special representative of the Russian President for Syria.

Murat Margoshvili was born in the Georgian SSR in 1972, during the first and second Chechen wars he fought on the side of the so-called Ichkeria, in 2012 he moved to Syria, where he commanded the detachment of Soldiers of the Levant, consisting of citizens of Germany and the CIS.
