Eunice is the worst storm to hit the UK in 30 years

Storm Eunice is expected to hit the UK on Friday, February 18th. Authorities are bracing for what could be described as the worst bad weather in more than 30 years.

The maximum danger level has been declared in red in the counties of Devonshire and Cornwall, as well as on the south coast of Wales.

The authorities described the high risks associated with the threat to human life, damage to infrastructure, and possible power and public transportation outages.

Wind speed can exceed 140 km / h.

Locals are advised to stay at home. In Wales, schools closed and trains stopped.

An orange alert has been issued across England.
