Russia expels US Deputy Ambassador Bart Gorman
Moscow expelled US Deputy Ambassador Bart Gorman from Russia. The United States, in turn, believes that the expulsion was unreasonable and promises to respond to this action.
Gorman’s expulsion was announced after US Ambassador John Sullivan visited the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Sullivan had arrived at the Russian Foreign Ministry headquarters and left the building 15 minutes later. The US diplomat declined to comment on the purpose of his visit to reporters.
