Turkey sends third aid train to Afghanistan

Anadolu Agency reported that the third “friendship train” left from Turkey carrying 994 tons of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.

The train consists of 62 cars carrying aid from 16 humanitarian organizations.
The train carries food, medicine, toiletries, necessities, clothes and blankets.

The train will have to pass more than 4 thousand kilometers. Through the territory of Iran and Turkmenistan along the so-called Southern Railway. On January 27 and February 11, two trains carrying humanitarian aid along this route have already left. In the first of them there were 750 tons of cargo, and in the second – 921 tons.
