Iran threatens US with consequences if nuclear deal fails

Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, confirmed. The United States will regret the failure of the Iran nuclear deal.

The Tehran spokesman pointed out that Iran’s “active resistance strategy” has already led to victory over Washington’s maximum pressure policy.

“If the negotiations in Vienna do not end with a good deal, the current US administration will soon realize its defeat and missed opportunities,” Shamkhani said.

Representatives of Russia, China, Britain, France, Germany, the European Union and the United States are participating in negotiations for an agreement under which Iran will give up further development of nuclear weapons.
