Dozens of families evacuated in Guatemala due to Fuego volcano

Dozens of families, 150 people, have been evacuated from villages near the Fuego volcano in Guatemala.

According to experts from the National Institute of Seismology, Volcanology, Meteorology and Hydrology, Fuego has been active for the past week. The volcanic eruption may increase significantly in the near future.

On March 7, there were several powerful eruptions of lava flows, accompanied by a flow of lava.

Fuego is located in the central part of the country, its height is 3.7 km. It is one of the most active volcanoes in the republic. The number of victims of his revolution in June 2018 ranged between 300 and 400 people.
