Sony Pictures suspends its activities in Russia

Sony Pictures has announced the suspension of all its activities in Russia due to the situation in Ukraine.

The statement by Sony Pictures Entertainment CEO Tony Vincchiera notes that the company supports “several companies around the world that have currently suspended their activities in Russia”.

As stated in the statement, the company has already postponed the digital releases of its projects, notably the movie “Spider-Man. There’s No Way Home,” and has frozen content distribution deals on television. In addition, Russian users will have limited access to the Crunchyroll anime service.
