Missile bombing of the US consulate in Erbil

The US Consulate in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, was attacked. For missile strikes, according to state television, 12 ballistic missiles were fired from outside Iraq.

According to the data published by the Iraqi Ministry of Health, there are no casualties or wounded, and some buildings in the bombing area suffered material damage.

Previously, US forces stationed at the Erbil International Airport complex were subjected to missile fire and drone attacks. The United States blames Iran-linked militants for the attacks. Representatives of the regional authorities reported that the airport was operating as usual.
