Czech Republic announces that its gas reserves are enough for 26 days only

Czech Transport Minister Martin Kupka said the country has gas reserves for a maximum of 34 days.

According to Kupka, reserves are at the level of 480 million cubic meters of gas, depending on the weather, and this is enough for 26-34 days.

Earlier, it was reported that the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline began to operate in the reverse mode: gas goes from Germany to Poland, and not vice versa.

The threat of losing gas from Russia hangs over Europe. The point is not only the sharp deterioration of Russian-European relations against the background of the military operation in Ukraine, but also the declared refusal of the Europeans to pay for Russian gas in rubles, which Moscow insisted on recently.
