Non-oil trade between the two countries grew by 2% in 2023 to reach 45 billion dirhams, which is a noticeable increase over previous years. The United Arab Emirates is considered the main destination for Kuwait’s non-oil exports, representing 22% of its global exports. These numbers confirm the pivotal role that the UAE plays as a gateway for Kuwaiti exports and re-exports to all parts of the world. The forum provides many ways to enhance trade cooperation between the UAE and Kuwait and enhance the strategic economic partnership between them.
