Tesla begins accepting reservations for electric semi-trucks

Tesla has announced the start of accepting pre-orders for the Tesla semi-trucks.

According to news portal The Verge. The buyer must transfer $20,000 to the company, but there is no set date for shipments to begin yet. The company is looking forward to 2023.

It has been reported that the customer must pay $5,000 first, which is refundable if the purchase is cancelled. Then, within 10 days, you have to pay the remaining $15,000, which no one will return.

Truck production was supposed to begin at the end of 2021. However, in July last year, it became known that the release of the Tesla Semi was postponed to 2022 “due to limited availability of battery cells and problems with the global supply chain.”

Tesla Semi was announced in 2017. Then the company said that the truck will have a range of about 480 and 800 km at a price of 150 thousand dollars and 180 thousand dollars, and the car can accelerate from 0 to 97 km / h in 20 seconds, even with a huge payload .
