The Arab Parliament awards Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Vice President of Bahrain, a medal "Development pioneers"

Today, the Arab Parliament awarded Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, the Development Pioneers Medal, which the Arab Parliament awards to distinguished Arab figures, non-parliamentarians, who have valuable contributions and initiatives in the field of development at all levels. National and Arab, as the first Arab official to receive it, in recognition of his pioneering role and great contributions to the development of administrative and housing work in the Kingdom of Bahrain and in recognition of his national role in participating in the events of an economic renaissance in the Kingdom of Bahrain.  

 

 

This came during the launch of the Sixth Conference of the Arab Parliament and the Speakers of Arab Parliaments and Councils, which was held Today at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo.  

 

Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asoumi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, stressed in his speech during the honoring ceremony that the Arab Parliament was keen to honor national and Arab symbols that influenced In sustainable development and nation building, he added that since his appointment as the first Minister of Housing in the Government of Bahrain in 1975, up to the issuance of the Royal Decree appointing him as Deputy Prime Minister, he assumed responsibility for many vital files, including the file of services, reconstruction, and infrastructure. He also served as a member of many Ministerial committees, higher committees, boards of directors, and specialized councils at the local and Arab levels, in addition to representing the Kingdom of Bahrain in many external events related to development and environmental preservation.  

 

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament said, This journey, filled with a lot of tireless efforts, dedication, sincerity in work, and loyalty to the homeland, has made  Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, a first-class statesman, and a loyal soldier in achieving the goals of the comprehensive development process led by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain  With the support and support of Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
