France begins issuing food stamps to residents as prices rise
French city authorities have started issuing coupons to residents so they can buy food, France 2 TV reported.
Aid is being provided due to rising food prices and declining purchasing power. Coupons are issued to French citizens in the amount of 30, 20 and 5 euros.
City authorities providing support to the population, this assistance will cost 37 million euros.
As it became known according to a study conducted by the Danish Statistics Authority, the increase in the prices of all kinds of products and goods in Denmark broke records 40 years ago.
