The Minister of Education and the Governor of Cairo open the annual exhibition "Create and create" For technical education students

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, accompanied by Major General Khaled Abdel-Al, Governor of Cairo, opened the annual exhibition and workshops for students of technical education schools in Cairo under the title “Create and Make,” which includes projects and student works during the academic year 2024, at the School of Maintenance Technology. The Minister and Governor inspected a number of workshops related to computers, and commercial projects “printing and weaving, And pottery, decoration" And the graduation project from the Arab Organization for Industrialization, antiquities restoration workshops, concrete works workshop, sanitary works workshop, whitewashing workshop, drafting and metals workshop, lathe workshop, wood inlay workshop, car workshop, in addition to a dual education workshop at Toyota Egypt.

 

They also inspected a number of wood industry exhibits, agricultural production, electrical and electronic departments, refrigeration and air conditioning departments, textile departments, entrepreneurship departments, decorative departments, decorative metals, mechanical departments, and clothing departments. Prefabricated buildings, hotel schools, and special education exhibits.

 

The minister discussed the students about their projects and how to benefit from them, as male and female students from the participating schools employed artificial intelligence tools in their projects, among them "Weak points of artificial intelligence using the Chat GPT program", and Al-Salam Commercial Girls School, Sahel Educational Administration, presented a project on designing " Information security using   After effect". On continuous development and providing high-quality products by the hands of its students, he also stressed that the Ministry is always working to develop the technical education system and improve the mental image of it, which contributes to encouraging young people to entrepreneurship and establishing projects, making them aware of education, training and work opportunities, and arming them with the basic components of investment in all industrial fields. And the agricultural and technological sectors.

 

The Minister directed that students’ products be marketed in a distinct manner and that the aim of these exhibitions be to present products made by students with the slogan (Made in Egypt’s schools).

 

For his part, Major General Khaled Abdel-Al, Governor of Cairo, stressed the political leadership’s keenness to pay attention to technical education as one of the main ways to achieve comprehensive development plans and programmes, within Egypt’s vision  2030, which made the Egyptian state pursue a national strategy to lay the foundations for a non-standard technical education system that relies on providing an applied environment for curricula that simulates the labor market in various specializations locally, regionally and globally, and qualifying human cadres and raising their efficiency and readiness artistically, technologically and technologically in proportion to successive developments in various fields. In addition to encouraging a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, in addition to improving the skills of those responsible for the educational process in accordance with international standards.

 

It is worth noting that the number of schools participating in the exhibition is 38 industrial schools out of 18. An industrial specialization, 7 hotel schools in 3 specializations, 5 commercial schools in 3 specializations, 3 agricultural schools in 3 specializations, and 2 technology schools.
