Armenia to withdraw its soldiers from Nagorno-Karabakh by September

Secretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan stated that Armenia will withdraw the remaining units in Nagorno-Karabakh by September, and the local defense army and Russian peacekeeping forces will provide security for the region.

“During the war, a number of units of the Armenian Armed Forces came to the aid of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army. After the establishment of the ceasefire regime and the deployment of the peacekeeping unit of the Russian Federation in the region, the withdrawal of units of the Armenian Armed Forces from Nagorno-Karabakh became quite normal.

After the ceasefire, they return to the Republic of Armenia. This process is nearing completion and will be completed in September. As for the defense army, it was in Nagorno-Karabakh and is still there.
