France bans air-conditioned shops from opening their doors

France bans air-conditioned shops from opening their doors –

In order to save electricity in the country, it will be forbidden to keep the doors open in the country when the air conditioner or heating system is turned on, French Energy Minister Agnes Pannier Ronachette said, and they will also extend the ban on lit ads at night.

“I will adopt two decisions in the coming days. The first extends the ban on illuminated advertisements regardless of size from 1 am until 6 am, with rare exceptions, such as train stations and airports. The second prevents shops from opening doors while the air conditioning or heating system is on” .

Pannier-Ronachette noted that violators will face fines: 1,500 euros for illuminated advertisements that have not been stopped and up to 750 euros for open doors.

In response to the European Commission’s proposal to reduce demand for natural gas by 15% within eight months, the minister confirmed that Paris will make its contribution, as she believes that European countries need to work together in this situation. .

Agnes Pannier-Runachette stressed this by saying: “Let’s also proceed from reality: we will not ask for great efforts from Ireland if it does not have the infrastructure to supply gas to the European continent”.
