Frankie Muniz Is Entering The Jungle

I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here Australia is right around the corner and the Channel 10 Big Dogs have revealed the identity of another celeb being catapulted into the jungle — Malcolm In The Middle’s Frankie Muniz.

Frankie was initially teased as the “international child star” and I am disappointed to report that I was not one of the people who guessed that the voice of the zebra in the fun children’s movie Racing Stripes would be participating in an Australian reality television show.

That being said, he’s a pretty good get!!!

Yes, no, maybe, I don’t know. Can you repeat the question? (Image: Supplied)

Now, not every I’m A Celeb season has a solid international star but in my opinion, Season 10 has done a great job convincing Agent Cody Banks to leave his wife and three-year-old son back home in the United States to go sleep amongst the baboons and bugs in the jungle.

Frankie is the second celebrity to be announced and — let’s all be honest here — he is probably going to be the most famous in the lineup.

Along with the beloved family sitcom Malcolm In The Middle, Frankie was a big ole’ child star who starred in the blockbuster hits like Big Fat Liar and the Agent Cody Banks series. But, at the pinnacle of his career in 2006, he stepped away from Hollywood and the camera to put all of his energy in his passion — car racing — which he now does professionally.

Although you’d think the 38-year-old’s job would make him an adrenaline junkie, he assured PEDESTRIAN.TV that he is certainly not.

“I’ve never been skydiving. I’ve never done bungee jumping. I don’t do any extreme sports. I don’t want to get hurt either. Even my bones are old and brittle now so I break easy,” he said with a laugh.

“That said I’m willing to try things. You know, especially in this environment where food is on the line.”

However, the former child star did note that he is not as adventurous when it comes to the food challenges.
“The biggest fear for me is the food challenges because I don’t eat normal food. I’m a very picky eater, very picky eater,” he explained.

“So I am going to warn all my campmates pretty early on that if I’m doing a food challenge, we’re going hungry that night, so don’t hold it against me.”

All the celebs announced so far

Brittany Hockley

On Wednesday, podcaster and radio personality Brittany Hockley was revealed as the first person to be heading to the jungle to potentially chomp on some cow bollocks!!

While she’s dabbled with reality television on The Bachelor before, she’s ready to show the public that she’s just not the glamorous, girly-girly that she seems like.

“I think there’s a misconception of who I am,” she explained, noting the comments saying she won’t survive a day in the jungle.

“I didn’t stay in a hotel until I was 18, my entire life is camping and my family was in a four-wheel drive club.

“Although one girl that followed me was like, ‘it couldn’t be Britney going into the jungle, she’s got too many appointments. I was like, wow so true, I do have a lot of skin appointments.”

“I’m so pumped. I’m so chuffed, but I’m also petrified, and I’m very nervous and I’m very anxious,” Hockley shared.

“I’m petrified of spiders and snakes, heights. I have this weird fear that there’s going to be a hippopotamus that’s going to be chilling in one of the pools.”

In the same video, she then joked that everyone told her to prepare, and in order to train for the jungle, Hockley slurped on some saucy pasta like she was about to slurp down some cow cum — a real challenge on I’m A Celeb BTW.

Not to brag, or anything, but we’ve guessed that Hockley would be one of the fortunate famous folks who will be raw dogging the depths of the South African jungle earlier this month. This was due to a bonus clue from host Julia Morris where she mentioned that a member from The Pick Up would be joining them in the wild.

With Hockley being the first celebrity reveal, there is still a shit tonne of clues about the lineup of celebs who will be dropped into the jungle to face their fear of heights, animals and questionable snacks.

The 10th season of I’m a Celeb doesn’t kick off until March 24, but there are just sooo many clues. So, let’s start the guessing, shall we?

Every I’m A Celebrity 2024 lineup clue so far

1. A controversial TV star

It wouldn’t be I’m A Celeb without a controversial TV star, would it?

This one is a bit of a mind-fuck, if you ask me. The obvious choice would be to chuck a controversial reality star from MAFS in the mix but in the past, the clue has made it clear that they are reality television stars, instead of just a “TV star”.

If it’s someone from reality television, I feel like it could be Olivia Frazer, Harrison Boon or Ella Ding.

However, days after the clue was announced, the I’m A Celebrity IG page posted a picture of the hosts Julia Morris and Robert Irwin of Aussie musician G-Flip. While it would be pretty fkn ballsy to post a pic of one of the celebrities rocking up to the jungle, I think it might be a sneaky, sneaky clue.

Looks like they’re having a blast. (Image: Instagram)

What if G-Flip’s wife Chrishell Stause is the television star being helicoptered into the jungle and these three are having a chit-chat about it??!?!

Although Chrishell isn’t as controversial as a MAFS star, she certainly picked up a pinch of controversy for her latest season of Selling Sunset, where she simply refused to take any shit from her costars. I loved seeing this side of her and think she was more patient than most people would be in that scenario. However, other people online did not agree with me and said that it impacted their opinion of her.

I am manifesting that this is the case. I would love to see the gorgeous and composed Chrishell in a tucker trial.

If we’re talking about non-reality television stars, it’s a lot harder.

The first person who came to mind for me was Steve Price but old mate has already been on the show before. Maybe controversial television chefs George Calombaris and Pete Evans will chuck on an Akubra in the jungle? After all, we always need at least one chef cooking up a storm in the jungle.

2. An international comedian

Well, colour me intrigued! There really is nothing like an international celebrity being added to the jungle juice. And a stand-up comedian? Even better for the much-needed camp giggles. The royal thing though, that throws me. Will I — a progressive, left-wing 28-year-old woman — cackle at the same joke the likes of King Charles stifle a giggle at? Probably not, but I am not this show’s target audience so I digress.

Anyway, there are a few comedians who come to mind here and most of them are British.

There’s Jack Whitehall who has a whole comedy routine about a time he bombed a gig at King CharlesChristmas party. However, he just welcomed a kid into this world in September 2023 and if I was his girlfriend, I’d say, “Don’t you dare go to the fucking jungle for an undisclosed amount of time while I have to look after this thing”, but that’s just me. Who knows?

It could be Michael McIntyre who roasted William and Kate when they rocked up to one of his gigs a few years back.

Or, as a very clever person on Instagram pointed out, it could be Ross Noble who has a very royal-esque last name.

3. A gold medallist

I’ll be honest, Olympians are not my speciality but thankfully the comments on Instagram had some pretty solid guesses.

The celeb racking up the most comments is Olympic swimmer Mack Horton. Mack nabbed Australia a gold medal in the Rio de Janeiro Olympic games in 2016 at only 16 years old, giving the country our first gold of the games. That’s some trailblazer shit right there, no?

Another solid guess is fellow Olympic swimmer Ian Thorpe, who once appeared on Celebrity Masterchef. Maybe he’s ready to swap his apron for some insect-proof boots?

4. A TV love rat

Ooooh we love a love rat!!!!

My first thought was long-time Channel 10 love rat Ciarran Stott, who has not only appeared on The Bachelor but also Bachelor In Paradise. Then, he jumped on The Challenge and even went on an iteration of The Bachelorette in Sweden. Baby boy is running out of reality shows and he even SAID he wanted to go on I’m A Celeb.

Now, if I’m right, his dreams are coming true. Wow, shoot for the stars kids.

I think his grimy little antics would be very entertaining in the jungle. After all, who doesn’t love a jungle romance?

Cheers to this ensemble, I guess. (Image: Getty)

However, since this clue came out, the cheeky I’m A Celeb IG account posted a video of the TV love rat flexing his bicep. Considering that Ciarran has more tattoos than I have brain cells, I think we might be able to rule him out. Bummer!

Maybe my television love rat knowledge is lacking but could it possibly be one of the former The Bachelors star Felix Von Hofe?

Back when he was one of three leading men, he was known for being incredibly horny on national television and questioning one of the girl’s polyamorous lifestyles despite being on a show which literally lets him date multiple women. Aside from his stint on telly, he was a former basketball player. So, he can score three-pointers on the court — but can he score three stars for his campmates if he was hypothetically in the jungle?

Only time will tell.

5. An AFL hall of Famer

I’ll be honest, I have no idea about AFL. I am an NRL girl. If they said it was someone from the Roosters’ being dropped into the jungle you better believe I’d be all over it.

According to the comments on Instagram, it seems like the hottest guest is former Brisbane Lions player Luke Hodge or the Sydney Swan’s Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin.

6. A celebrity cook

I think I speak on behalf of all of the celebrities when I say thank the Lord that a chef is being chucked into the jungle. Each year, the chef has provided a wonderful service — making the beans and rice actually taste okay.

The only tricky bit is that due to the love of MasterChef in Australia, we have SO many celebrity chefs so it’s hard to pin one down.

Hence why I’m going to go with my gut and hypothesise that we might see Khanh Ong or Reynold Poernomo. Both chefs have a flair in life and in the kitchen but honestly, my heart is saying it’s Khanh.

7. Hollywood child star

I’ll tell ya what, this clue has tickled my fancy. While my heart of hearts wants it to be a Kardashian, I think we all know that’s out of the question. Well, unless Rob decides to resurface on Australian television of all places.

My first realistic thought was it could be Frankie Grande, the brother of one Miss Ariana Grande. Having a famous sister constitutes as a famous family, and Frankie appeared on Broadway in Rock Of Ages in 2015 and Mamma Mia! from 2007 to 2010. Also, Frankie has participated in reality television before, hitting up the American Big Brother in 2016.

It could also be Jamie Lynn Spears, the sister of Brittney Spears. Recently, Jamie Lynn appeared on the UK version of the show but left because she missed her kids. Maybe she feels like she could give it another shot?

Another interesting hypothesis fans of the show have is that it could be Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne‘s son Jack Osbourne. While I wouldn’t classify the television presenter as a “stage sensation” apparently the Osbournes mentioned that Jack was heading to South Africa for something soon. They didn’t say what. Interesting.

8. A glamorous sports star

I am screaming, I am praying that this clue is referring to Matildas’ darling Mary Fowler. The forward graced the cover of Marie Clare’s 2023 Women Of The Year issue. She also has been wrapped up in headlines recently after striking up a sweet romance with NRL’s golden boy Nathan Cleary.

It could also be three-time Olympic gold medallist swimmer Stephanie Rice.

Plus, back in 2015, the talented sports star revealed that she had been approached to go on the show but turned it down because it didn’t align with her brand or morals. But let’s be real, a lot has changed since 2015 and she’s appeared on SAS Australia so I feel like maybe Stephanie has changed her tune when it comes to reality television. Plus, I’m A Celeb is for charity!!!

9. A mega influencer

This. This is what I watch the show for. I love nothing more than an influencer — who indulges in the finer things in life — having to participate in tucker trials.

My first thought was that international influencer and OnlyFans star Harry Jowsey might be giving the show a crack. After all, the sweet boy loves reality television. He built up a profile after appearing on Season One of Netflix’s Too Hot Too Handle and since then we’ve seen him on fellow Channel Ten show The Amazing Race Australia and Dancing With The Stars US. Why not add I’m A Celeb to the reality TV round-up?

Another fun guess I saw on Instagram is Australian comedian and influencer Christian Hull. If you’ve been following along online, Christian is set to head on board the nine-month cruise next week. However, savvy fans are calling bullshit, claiming that all the cruise prep he’s posting on his TikTok is just a ruse for the I’m A Celeb jungle.

I don’t buy it, but wouldn’t that be a hoot?

Okay, okay, I’m happy to admit when I was wrong. Since my first musings about the mega influencer, the official IG account posted a little sneaky clip of the star — who is either a woman with gorgeous blonde hair or a man/non-binary person in a lovely wig.

Now I’m saying it’s OG influencer Skye Wheatley who got her start on Big Brother in Season 11. She’s now a mum, has an activewear brand and is known for her vlogs where she really, truly says what is on her mind.

In my opinion, this woman is absolutely A+ talent and I’d love to see her traipse around the jungle. I also think she’d be tougher than people give her credit for.

10. A gold Logie winning national treasure

Well, slap me silly and call me Rhonda because this has just got to be Kate Ritchie. If I was playing poker, I’d bet all my chips that this clue is referencing the Home And Away alum turned radio star. Not only is she a two-time TV WEEK Gold Logie winner, but she has always had a special spot in the hearts of Australians. I mean, ask your parents, they genuinely saw her grow up onscreen as little Sally Fletcher on the soap opera.

To make matters even more interesting, hosts Julia and Robert went on Kate’s breakfast radio show this week, with Kate exclaiming that she loves the guessing games. The next day this clue was posted. Coincidence? I think NOT.

If I am wrong (I’m not) and it’s not Kate, it could also be Sonia Kruger, Carrie Bickmore, Asher Keddie, Georgie Parker and Lisa McCune.

BONUS: A member of The Pickup radio show

Well, well. I just want to say WE WERE RIGHT.

Before Brittany Hockley was revealed to be one of the celebs who will be dropped into the South African jungle, I’m A Celeb host Julia Morris dropped a ‘yuge clue that someone from this trio will be guzzling balls.

As Julia and Rob made their publicity rounds earlier this month, they popped in for a chat with Brittany Hockley, Laura Byrne and Mitch Churi from KIIS FM’s arvo show The Pick Up.

During this appearance, they announced that one of the charismatic hosts would be making their way into the jungle with one of the members of The Pick Up.

Well, it’s gonna be fookin’ one of yas!!!!! (Image: Getty)

“Robert and I were talking about it this afternoon,” Julia said on air.

“We have an official sign-off that we are not leaving Australia without a person from the pickup. We don’t have to be the one to decide but I want one of you to come with us.”

What a TREAT!!

The hosts who will join the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here 2024 cast

Robert Irwin

Robert Irwin is the latest edition to the I’m A Celeb hosting duo. Previously, tall blonde man and vet Dr Chris Brown had been hosting the show alongside Julia Morris. But when he decided to move on to other opportunities in April 2023, it left room for a slightly smaller blonde man who likes animals to fill the role. And naturally, Robert Irwin was the perfect fit.

As the only nepo baby that I think the people can truly get behind, it’s in Robert’s blood to be presenting on a show that has so much to do with wildlife and animals.

I can only imagine how proud his dad Steve Irwin would be.

Julia Morris

Beloved Aussie comedian, actress and performer Julia Morris has been hosting I’m A Celeb since its very first season in 2015. But by no means was that the start of Julia’s career. She’s been a mainstay of the Australian entertainment scene ever since 1995 when she joined the sketch comedy series Full Frontal.

Since then, she’s appeared as her hilarious self in Thank God You’re Here, The Project, The Living Room and Hughsey, We Have A Problem, just to name a few. As an actor, she appeared in my mum’s favourite show — House Husbands.

More recently, Julia appeared as the Kitten on The Masked Singer in 2020. And, has even copped nominations for the TV WEEK Gold Logie in 2019, 2022 and 2023.

So, in short, she’s a fkn star.
