The Cabinet Media Center denied the validity of the news that spread claiming the spread of a new virus that infects poultry on farms and causes their death.

 

The media center explained in a statement today, Monday, that it had contacted the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, which denied the news, stressing that there is no truth to the spread of a new virus that infects poultry on farms and causes their death, and that no mutants or viruses have been detected spreading among poultry on farms, stressing The Ministry’s active investigation committees should intensify their campaigns in various governorates of the Republic, whether on bird farms, their selling markets, or the paths of migratory birds, as a precautionary measure to identify any epidemic diseases affecting birds, while conducting a comprehensive periodic examination of birds, by withdrawing samples from them for analysis in a health research laboratory. Animals to ensure their safety and free of any diseases or epidemics, and to take all necessary health measures if any epidemics or spreading viruses are discovered, calling on citizens not to be led by such lies, while obtaining information from reliable sources.

 

In a related context, poultry production cycles on farms are proceeding regularly without any health problems, with an increase in the occupancy rate in the fattening houses and an increase in poultry production rates to cover all needs despite the increase in consumption rates coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan.
