Mufti: The Battle of Badr proved that Islamic legislation in peace and war is superior to what human systems have reached

Regarding the affliction that befalls man, the Mufti of the Republic affirmed that the legal text shows that a Muslim is between two circles; The circle of gratitude and the circle of patience; Therefore, man is afflicted in the universe.

In his response to the viewers’ questions, His Eminence the Mufti answered a question inquiring about the ruling on someone who vows to pray 20 rak’ahs if his wife returns home, saying: “The basic principle of the obligation is that it should be from the Sharia.” ; Whoever vows something and attaches it to a condition, it becomes obligatory for him, and whoever commits himself to something, it becomes obligatory. It is best for a Muslim to perform obedience and good deeds without conditioning them on a condition.

His Eminence stressed the necessity of the one who issued the fatwa returning to the words of doctors, especially before making a decision. The ruling on medical issues related to acts of worship, such as asthma inhalers for the fasting person, enemas, and ear drops, as these matters cannot be conceptualized in a correct jurisprudential manner without referring to medical experts.

His Eminence concluded his dialogue by responding to the ruling of those who claimed that smoking is permissible during the day in Ramadan, saying: The basic principle regarding things is that they are permissible, and what causes harm is forbidden. Smoking, because it is a bad habit, must be abstained from immediately because of its harm to one’s health and the health of others. Likewise, smoking spoils the fast and requires making up for it. Because the smoke resulting from burning tobacco condenses inside the nose and descends to the chest, forming a particle that enters the cavity, causing the fungus.
