Minister of Labor: Egypt is committed to international standards and women’s rights are protected in the new republic

 The Minister of Labor, Hassan Shehata, confirmed today, Thursday, that the Egyptian state is committed to all international labor standards, and that the laws and decisions related to the labor file include provisions confirming this, indicating that the directives and assignments of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasize the importance of conforming to international standards. with national legislation, stressing that women’s political, economic, and social rights are protected in the "new republic" And that its protection and care in work and production sites is achieved on the ground.

This came in Minister Hassan Shehata’s speech – during the ceremony of launching the “Guide Guide for Ministry of Labor Inspectors on Inspection that Respects Gender Equality and Just Transition” – In cooperation with the International Labor Organization, and with the participation of the Director of the Organization’s office in Cairo, Mr. Eric Ochlan, and held in one of Cairo’s hotels.
