The Minister of Environment congratulates President Sisi on the new presidential term
Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, congratulated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, on assuming a new presidential term for the Arab Republic of Egypt, wishing more success in his leadership of the country during the coming period in order to achieve the desired sustainable development, which will be reflected in the well-being of the Egyptian citizen and the progress of the state.
Dr. Yasmine Fouad confirmed that the President’s political leadership of the country during the last period achieved an unprecedented breakthrough in the environmental sector in Egypt, as he was the first to place the environment and confront its challenges on the agenda of priorities. The Egyptian state, believing in the importance of this file and its connection to various aspects of life and its direct impact on the wheel of development, was the President’s directives from the first moments to change the language of dialogue about the environment in Egypt. Environmental work is transformed from simply working to reduce pollution, to preserving natural resources for the well-being of the citizen. Preserving the rights of future generations, and linking the environment to various development fields, especially the economy, to enhance Egypt’s path towards green transformation.
