Champions League: Al-Ahly in red against Simba

The technical meeting for the first football team match between Al-Ahly and Tanzania’s Simba Club was held this evening, in preparation for the match that brings together the two teams tomorrow ‏Friday, in the second leg of the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.‏

The meeting was attended Captain Khaled Bibou, director of football, Captain Samir Adly, administrative director, Wael Mohamed and Mohamed Osama, team administrators, and Brigadier Alaa Salah, security coordinator, in the presence of the match observer, and representatives of the Referees Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

During the meeting, it was agreed that the team would wear its traditional uniform of red shirt, white shorts, and black sock, and the goalkeeper would wear a green crew, while the Simba team would wear an all-blue uniform and its goalkeeper would wear an orange crew.

 

The meeting discussed all organizational matters related to the match, the times of arrival to the field and the start of warm-up operations.‏

 

Al-Ahly had won the first leg with a free goal scored by Ahmed Nabil Kouka, in the match that was held last Friday at Benjamin Mkaba Stadium in the capital, Dar es Salaam.‏
