"Fujairah Martial Arts" He provides the UAE national teams with 54 players "Gulf youth"

Fujairah, April 4 / WAM / The Fujairah Martial Arts Club revealed that 54 male and female players affiliated with the club will represent the UAE teams in the Gulf Youth Championship, which will start on April 12, after they were selected by the technical staff of the national teams.

The club family extended its thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and Supreme President of the club, for the great support and generous guidance that contributed to discovering an elite group of talented national players, developing them and putting them into strong international competitions, which led to their joining the national teams. The players are divided into 14 players from the Taekwondo team. And 10 players in the fencing team, 8 players in the swimming team, 7 players in the boxing team, 6 players in the triathlon team, 4 in the judo team, 3 in the archery team, and 2 in the karate team.

In turn, Nader Abu Shawish, Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, praised the great efforts made by the technical, administrative and medical bodies, calling on the players to provide the best levels and represent Emirati sports in a distinguished and appropriate manner, stressing that the election of 54 male and female players from the Fujairah Martial Arts Club and their inclusion in the national teams translates the vision of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah. The primary goal must be to provide the national teams of the United Arab Emirates with national talents capable of reaching international podiums.

The club director confirmed that the international tournaments organized by the club in various sports enhanced the culture of winning and continuous development among the players, which led them to the national teams.

In a related context, Fujairah will host three sports in the Gulf Championship: taekwondo, badminton, and fencing.
