The General Union of Food Industries Workers launches a strategy to support the president with work and production
The Board of Directors of the General Union of Food Industry Workers met, headed by Representative Khaled Aish, representative of Egyptian workers in the Senate, to discuss a number of files related to food industry workers in order to create a work environment that fulfills the interests of the parties to the production process, with the interest of the worker at the forefront.
On this occasion, the Council sent a congratulatory telegram to His Excellency the President of the Republic, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, on the occasion of taking the constitutional oath for a third term, and the Council pledged to continue making efforts aimed at achieving the interests of workers. Egypt, by launching a strategy behind which the Council aims to support His Excellency the President through production and work to achieve self-sufficiency and reach exports to 100 billion dollars, and for the food industries sector to contribute to achieving this number, as there were good signs last year when the sector’s exports rose to exceeding 5.1 billion dollars. The old number is 4.8 billion, and the Board of Directors pledges to continue educating workers under the banner of the new republic, the rules of which were established by the President. Work under the leadership of Minister Hassan Shehata, and his keenness to achieve more balance and justice in labor relations between both sides of the production process, employers and workers, as well as opening many important files related to vocational training, especially the “Vocational Project 2030”, in cooperation with the private sector, as well as the integration of people with concerns in the labor market, protecting, caring for, and employing irregular workers, and also activating the role of the emergency relief fund for workers, and also committing to applying international labor standards, and other files that we look forward to completing for these projects that strengthen labor relations and contribute to achieving development.. The Board of Directors was The General Union had unanimously agreed to support the president in the presidential elections. The support and support will not stop with the announcement of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s victory, but will continue throughout the presidency, especially since the challenges facing the world, with Egypt at its heart, are not easy, and we can confirm now that what is coming is better, God willing.
