Zamalek is close to contracting with Ahmed Fathi to coach the women’s volleyball team

An official source within the Zamalek club revealed the opening of strong negotiations with Ahmed Fathi, coach of the women’s volleyball team at Sporting Club, in order to take over the Zamalek team during the coming period.

Ahmed Fathi took over the task of coaching the Zamalek women’s team during the last season, and led the team to win the Egypt Cup and the African Club Championship titles, and left the White Castle at the end of the season to lead the Sporting team.

At the beginning of the current season, the Zamalek Board of Directors contracted with Hossam Shoukry to coach the team.

A deciding match is scheduled to be held tomorrow, Saturday, to determine the champion of the women’s volleyball league between Al-Ahly and Zamalek are at Hassan Mustafa Hall on the 6th of October.

It is worth noting that the Zamalek club’s women’s volleyball team lost the Egyptian Super Cup after Al-Ahly won with a score of “3-2” .
