Two people dead and seven injured after horrific shooting at a Florida bar when fight erupted: Gunman fatally shot security guard who intervened

Seven people have been shot and two are dead after a gunman opened fire on bystanders during a bar fight. 

A gunman is reported to have begun shooting after an altercation at Martini Bar in Doral, Florida at 3:30pm Saturday, initially killing a security guard who intervened. 

The chaotic scenes saw seven others shot, including six bystanders and a Doral Police Officer, before the gunman was shot and killed at the scene. 

Of the six bystanders, two are in critical condition and four are in stable condition, and the cop was shot in the leg. 

The police officer who was shot in the leg had been responding to the incident with another cop, both of whom reportedly fired their weapons in the late-night shootout. 

The gunman was killed during this exchange of gunfire, according to NBC Miami.
