Chairman of the Media Committee "Gulf youth" : A comprehensive plan to promote the event
Dubai, April 7 / WAM / The Media Committee of the First Gulf Youth Games announced the existence of a comprehensive plan, in accordance with best practices, implemented by a distinguished work team to promote, cover, and provide information about the tournament activities hosted by the UAE.
Ibrahim Al-Assam, member of the Board of Directors of the National Olympic Committee and Chairman of the Media Committee, explained that the media coverage that was approved began a month before the start of the session, by focusing on promoting the upcoming Gulf event, highlighting the preparations of the participating teams, and the tasks and efforts of the various committees, in addition to covering the events. Championship and various competitions.
He said: We are keen to implement the plan with high professionalism to ensure its success, and we saw a great response from all colleagues who were assigned the task, by preparing news about the participating teams, and sharing it via an interactive electronic bulletin, in addition to using various means of communication to broadcast news and promote the tournament, and we are very confident that things will work out. It is moving forward at a good pace, and we hope to reach the best professional performance indicators during the coming period as the countdown to the start of the session begins.
Al-Assam praised the smooth flow of work in the media committee through several tasks, including for field colleagues, the “disk” committee, the “audit” committee, the “social media” committee, and the photographers committee, resembling a mini media institution.
He added: This distinguished experience over the past few years could represent a real nucleus for establishing a strong base based on the high professional performance of a group of distinguished colleagues, to undertake any future tasks in covering sporting events hosted by the country.
Al-Assam called for working during the coming period to follow up on the news and preparations of the Gulf federations participating in the session, and to communicate with their officials to highlight the latest technical arrangements and lists of participating elements, based on a single and fundamental goal that parallels the importance of this event, which establishes the common Gulf visions in integrating roles and programs, to advance the system.
