New competitions for the weanling age race in Al Dhaid Square

Sharjah, April 7, 2017 – Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and organized by the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, new competitions for the “Weaned Age” race for tribal camels were launched today on the grounds of Al Dhaid Camel Racing Field.

The competitions included 20 rounds for the weanlings, including 12 rounds for female participants, 4 difficult rounds for the people of Dhaid, and 4 open rounds for a distance of 1,500 metres, in the presence of large crowds of camel owners and lovers.

The results of the first places in the race were as follows:

The first half is “Party” by Muhammad Saeed Awad Saif Al-Ketbi, the second half is “Al-Haid” by Muhammad Khalifa Muhammad Howiden Al-Ketbi, the third half is “Zarij” by Saif Abdullah Muhammad Al-Khasouni, the fourth half is “Mayas” by Ahmed Salem Hamad Al-Mansouri, and the fifth half is “Dosha” by Hamad Matar. Hamad Khalifa Al-Ketbi, the sixth round “Shaheen” by Ali Matar Muhammad Muhyan Al-Ketbi, the seventh round “Al-Shahiniya” by Muhammad Saeed Al-Khasouni, the eighth half “Shaheen” by Abdullah Salem Al-Khasouni, the ninth half “Thank You” by Muhammad Hamad Suhail Al-Shamsi, and the tenth round “Mablish” By Rashid Mubarak Muhammad Al-Khasouni, the eleventh round, “Al-Shahiniya,” by Harran, Muhammad Abdullah Howiden Al-Ketbi, and the twelfth half, “Al-Shababi,” by Saeed Rashid Salem Al-Aidab.

As for the thirteenth round, it went to “Al-Shahiniya” by Mohammed Rashid bin Markhan Al-Ketbi, with a time of 2:8:43 (the best time). The fourteenth round was “Shaheen” by Muhammad Rashid bin Markhan Al-Ketbi, and the fifteenth round was “Al-Shahiniya” by Muhammad Rashid bin Markhan.
