Learn about the clubs participating in the new season of the Professional League

The contract for the teams scheduled to participate in the next season of the Professional Handball League was completed, after the conclusion of the relegation and promotion competitions, which witnessed great competition during the past days.

Both Delphi and Al-Qana were promoted to the professional league, while they were relegated. 4 clubs: Al-Ahly, Al-Shams, Al-Tersana and Al-Obour, so that next season’s league will include 14 teams.

Next season’s league will include Al-Ahly, Zamalek, National Bank, Sporting, Al-Jazira, Tala’i El-Geish, Heliopolis, Smouha and Al-Tayaran. And the flowers, the horse owners, Maadi, Delphi, and the canal.

Handball Federation officials, headed by Dr. Mohamed Al-Amin, announced the date of holding the men’s Egyptian Cup finals For the current season 2023/2024, starting from the quarter-finals until the final match.

The dates set by the Handball Federation were as follows:

The quarter-finals -May 27

Semi-final – May 31

Final – June 1

Handball Federation officials, headed by Dr. Mohamed Al-Amin, also set the dates for the final round matches of the Professional League Championship for the current season 2023/2024, with the participation of 4 teams, namely Al-Ahly, Zamalek, Sporting, and the National Bank.

The final round competitions are scheduled to be held using the “Best of Three” system, where Al-Ahly and Zamalek will compete to determine the title, and Sporting and the National Bank will meet to determine the bronze medalist.

The Al-Ahly and Zamalek confrontations will be held on the following dates:

Ahly × Zamalek (first confrontation) – May 17, 2024

Ahly × Zamalek (second confrontation) – May 21

In the event that the two teams are tied on aggregate, a playoff match will be held on May 24 to officially determine the title holder.
