More than 60 thousand worshipers perform Eid al-Fitr prayers in Al-Aqsa

Occupied Jerusalem, April 10 / WAM / Today, Wednesday, more than 60,000 worshipers performed Eid al-Fitr prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque – the Holy Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem, despite the restrictions imposed by the Israeli authorities.
The Old City of occupied Jerusalem witnessed a large influx of Palestinian citizens, since the early morning hours, to participate in Eid prayers.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem stated that a number of Palestinian citizens who were forcibly removed from Al-Aqsa by the Israeli authorities performed Eid prayers in the streets surrounding the mosque.
