The Olympic Taekwondo team leaves Cairo to compete in a series of world championships before Paris

Egypt’s Olympic Taekwondo team flies to the Serbian capital Belgrade to participate in the Serbian Open G2 Championship and enters a closed camp, then heads to the city of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, to participate in the Estonia Open G1 Championships and the International Federation President’s Cup G2 in preparation for participation in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

The delegation of the Egyptian Olympic Taekwondo team left today at dawn, heading to the city of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, to participate in the Serbian Open G2 Championship in the period from April 13-14, then enter a closed training camp with a number of teams and players qualified for the Olympics. Paris in Belgrade in the period from April 15-22, then heading to the Estonian capital Tallinn to participate in the Estonian Open G1 and the International Federation President’s Cup G2 tournaments in the period from April 23-29, according to the preparation plan drawn up by Engineer Mohamed Agiza, member of the Federation’s Board of Directors and President.

The Egyptian Olympic team is represented by Ahmed Wael Nassar, the under-68 kg player, Saif Issa, the under-80 kg player, and Aya Shehata, the under-67 kg player, Egyptian players who qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, in addition to a technical staff consisting of foreign expert Bijan Moganlu, the team’s technical director. In addition to Captain Osama Sayed, the general coach, and Dr. Qadri Al-Murr, the team’s physical therapist.
