Maloney: The rugby players who can seriously golf
With The Masters teeing off on Nine this week, it struck me as the perfect time to put my journalist hat on and examine some of the great Wallabies golfers of the professional era.
There is a strong rugby flavour at Augusta this year, with New Zealand’s Ryan Fox shooting -3 to sit tied for sixth after the first round.
Fox is the son of All Blacks legend Grant, a 1987 Rugby World Cup winner who sometimes caddies as a proud father.
