Sarah Snook, who plays 26 roles in one production, wins the prestigious Olivier award in London

Sarah Snook’s Critically Acclaimed Performance in a One-Person Show The Portrait of Dorian Gray in London’s West End has been crowned with the prestigious Olivier Award for best actress.

The 36-year-old, best known for playing Shiv Roy on the hit TV show. Successionwon in front of a star-studded field that included Sex and the city star Sarah Jessica Parker for Plaza Suite.

It is the third major acting award this year for Snook, after having won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her work in the final season of the acclaimed HBO series, which since February has surprised both audiences and critics in Oscar Wilde’s classic adapted and directed by Kip Williams at Theater Royal Haymarket in London.

The Australian plays the 26 roles in the production that is destined for New York, including Basil Hallward, Sibyl Vane and Gray himself, a handsome young gentleman corrupted by hedonistic values.
