Understanding between "Adnik" And"Rotate" To promote sustainable waste management practices

Abu Dhabi, April 17 / WAM / ADNEC Group announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Tadweer Group to create a framework to enhance cooperation in waste management and sustainability projects.

Under the memorandum, ADNEC Group will enhance activities related to the introduction of expanded waste management systems and solutions and sustainable waste management, and will work to encourage responsible behavior through awareness campaigns and initiatives.

The memorandum also stipulates the design and implementation of recycling stations to enhance the practice of separating waste at the source.

Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and CEO of ADNEC Group, said: “The memorandum of understanding between ADNEC Group and Tadweer Group highlights our strategic focus on sustainability through waste management and recycling to support the UAE’s goals and national strategies to achieve sustainable development.”

For his part, Ali Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and CEO of Tadweer Group, said: “We are pleased to sign the memorandum of understanding with ADNEC Group, as the memorandum will help us work closely with partner companies and institutions in order to support recycling efforts and benefit from the added value of such operations on the environment.

ADNEC Group will also implement newly designed Recycling Vending Machines (RVM) in collaboration with Tadweer Group and Tadweer Reward System, where the MoU will also cover food waste processing through primary anaerobic waste recycling, and the application of other innovative technologies where required.
