DUBAI, April 22 / WAM / The Dubai Chamber for Digital Economy, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, announced that the total market value of 9 multinational digital companies that it attracted to the emirate during the past year exceeded 304 billion dirhams (82.84 billion US dollars). This reflects the growing attractiveness of Dubai globally as a premier investment destination for companies operating in the sectors of modern and advanced technologies, and embodies the Chamber’s efforts to enhance Dubai’s digital economy and support the achievement of the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
The factor of diversity in sectors was one of the prominent features of the specializations of multinational digital companies that the Chamber attracted during 2023, as it included the sectors of cybersecurity, mobility technology, health care and fitness technologies, in addition to vehicles based on new energy, robotics, autonomous control systems, e-commerce, cars, and legal services. And cryptocurrencies.
The list of attracted digital companies included 3 companies from the continent of Asia, 3 companies from the continent of Europe, two companies from the United States of America, and a company from Latin America, which reflects the promising opportunities that Dubai’s digital economy abounds for multinational companies.

Omar Sultan Al Olama said that the Dubai Chamber for the Digital Economy is working to enhance efforts and cooperation to achieve the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), to consolidate the digital business environment in the emirate through a group of strategic initiatives, in conjunction with continuing efforts to review the advanced competitive elements that Dubai’s economy enjoys. Digital, attracting more companies, investors and entrepreneurs to the emirate, which enhances Dubai’s lead among the most important cities attracting qualitative digital investments and talent specialized in digital sectors.
The Dubai Chamber for Digital Economy continues its efforts to accelerate the emirate’s transformation into one of the world’s leading digital economies, in line with the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), as last year witnessed the launch of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, The “Apply in Dubai” initiative, led by the Dubai Chamber for the Digital Economy, aims to qualify and train 1,000 Emiratis to introduce new work methods and create quality applications, in addition to tripling the number of application developers by 2025, and supporting 100 new national projects by offering… Their applications in digital stores.
The Chamber also launched the National Talent Training Academy and the Smart Applications Olympiad competition, and hosted the “Expand North Star” exhibition, which is the largest gathering of startups and investors in October. The exhibition witnessed the attendance of 33,060 participants.
The Chamber launched the “Support and Attract Companies” platform with the aim of enhancing the business environment in Dubai by simplifying the operations of companies seeking to launch or expand the scope of their activities in the emirate. The platform provides a package of institutional services in cooperation with a number of partners, in addition to a business matchmaking service to help… Companies are working to find partners, investors and clients that suit their requirements, while the Dubai Chamber for the Digital Economy signed memorandums of understanding with 14 partners to provide packages of services and facilities for digital companies, and received 365 applications from companies wishing to benefit from the benefits and facilities provided.
Last year, the Chamber organized 10 workshops specialized in various digital economic sectors to learn about the challenges of the private sector, and held two workshops that brought together government agencies to introduce them to the challenges and appropriate solutions. It also organized 24 tours that included the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe to attract international digital companies.
